It’s hard to believe that 2021 has come to a close! The Eustis Lakeside Dental team is looking forward to the new year, but before we move on, we wanted to share some of our favorite memories from 2021.
A large part of our mission at the practice is volunteerism and community involvement; it’s what we truly love to do. All our favorite moments from 2021 are from the community events we were able to attend. Take a look at Dr. Young, Dr. Winker, and our team members getting involved in 2021:
- Dr. Young and Dr. Winker volunteering at the RAM Dental Mission in Fort Lauderdale, FL in March.
- Filling backpacks for the Eustis Chamber of Commerce Backpack Drive in July.
- Sponsoring the 15th annual Stepping Out for Education event to support the Education Foundation of Lake County.
- Dr. Young and Alyssa volunteering at the Baptist Bus Dental Mission in August.
- Volunteering and sponsoring the Boys and Girls Club Annual Fish Fry in October.
- Sponsoring Advent Health’s Charity Golf Tournament in October.
- Sponsoring City of Eustis’ Recreation Center Charity Golf Tournament in October.
- Dr. Young lending a hand to City Commissioner Willie Hawkins for Eustis kids in need by donating bicycles for Christmas.
We also supported Life Point Church, the Boys and Girls Club, Eustis Police Department and Life’s Choices with dental education events over the summer and provided monetary support to Helping Hands, the Lion’s Club, Elks lodge, Moose Lodge, Mount Dora Rotary Club, Kawanis, Leesburg High School, Seminole Springs Elementary, and The Haven Project throughout the year.
